Guest Card is not unlocking the door: Does a Master Key unlock the door?


  1. Yes: Try to unlock by Guest Card.
    1. If the LED flashes in red and blue alternately, the deadbolt is either engaged or there is a deadbolt switch problem. 
      1. Action: Check the deadbolt and deadbolt switch.
    2. If there are 2 short 'ticks' and LED flashes red twice when a Guest Card is used, the Guest Card is out of date.  
      1. Action: Redo the Guest Card or use Clock Card to set the lock.
    3. If there are 3 short 'ticks' an LED flashes red three times when a Guest Card is used, there is a room password error.
      1. Action: Redo the Guest Card or change the room password (make sure that the computer clock is correct and issue the Room Password Card to set the lock).
    4. If there are 4 short 'ticks' and LED flashes red four times when a Guest Card is used, the room number of the card does not correspond to the lock. 
      1. Action: Redo the guest card or set the information again after you clear the old information of the lock.
    5. If there are 5 short 'ticks' and LED flashes red five times when a Guest Card is used, the card has been added to the blacklist.  
      1. Action: Redo the Guest Card.
    6. If there are 6 short 'ticks' and LED flashes six times when a Guest Card is used, the card has been stopped by a Stop Card. 
      1. Action: Cancel the stop function of the lock.
    7. If there are 7 short 'ticks' and LED flashes red seven times when a Guest Card is used, the clock of the lock needs to be reset.
      1. Action: Issue a Clock Card to set the lock.
    8. If there are 8 short 'ticks' and LED flashes red eight times when a Guest Card is used, the lock's information is incorrect. 
      1. Action: Try the Hardware Clear method to clear the information of the lock. Then issue the Initialization Card and Initialization Card 2 to install the information again.
  2. No: Try to unlock by Master Key
    1. If there is no sound and no LED flashes when a Master Key is used, there is no power to the lock. 
      1. Action: The issue could be the batteries.  Check the connection and change to new batteries if needed. 
      2. Action: The issue could be the circuit board. Change the circuit board and issue the Initialization Card and Initialization Card 2 from the install information.
    2. If there are 2 long 'ticks' when a Master Key is used, the power could be low or batteries are not connected well. 
      1. Action: Check the batteries' connection and change if needed.
    3. If there is no sound and LED flashes red once when a Master Key is used, the lock information needs to be checked. 
      1. Action: Issue the Initialization Card and Initialization Card 2 to reinstall information on the lock. 
    4. If there are 4 short 'ticks' and the LED flashes red four times when a Master Key is used, there is an error with the lock information. 
      1. Action: Try the Hardware Clear method to clear the information on the lock.  Then issue the Initialization Card and Initialization Card 2 to install information again. 
    5. If there is 1 'tick' and the LED flashes blue once but doesn't unlock, the issue could be a few things:
      1. The control wire is not connected well.  Action: Connect the control wire again.  
      2. The power is low.  Action: Change the batteries. 
      3. There is a circuit board problem.  Action: Change the circuit board, and issue the Initialization Card and Initialization Card 2 to install information onto the lock. 
      4. The motor has been blocked. Action: Check the motor and the lock pin of the motor.
